7 testimonialsThe Alephbeis app is a prime example of using technology in the correct way. The assessments and teacher/parent reports that are available on the app are highly professional, bringing full transparency to our classrooms. The amount of resources that are available is astounding and it’s all easy to use. Our school has gained and benefitted a tremendous amount. Everything on the app is thoroughly researched with the highest standards of emes and mesorah. And the best part is having Morah Tova to guide you! A superstar teacher with extensive knowledge and a deep understanding of kriah.
As a kriah specialist, I have used this Sefer with many of my students. I like the scope and sequence of the sefer, as well as the clear and nice format. These struggling readers have become confident, accurate readers, with remarkable progress in fluency as well. Hatzlocha!
The clear format and systematic approach makes it teacher friendly and is inviting for a student and makes it easy to succeed. The layout of the book helps the children focus on their reading. I have 12 reading books, but not a day goes by that I don’t use this book for my special needs children.
Alephbeis is a must for any school or teacher that wants a proven successful all-encompassing Kriah curriculum. Since it is easy to follow and fun, students are motivated to remain active during the kriah lessons. The assessments align perfectly with each skill, ensuring that every student’s progress is tracked throughout their elementary years. When followed with integrity and consistency, mastery of Hebrew reading with accuracy as well as fluency, all while reading with confidence and positivity, is an attainable goal for all. Our students in grades 1–4 have shown incredible achievement in their reading since adopting the Alephbeis curriculum in our school 2 years ago. Our students look forward to their daily Kriah lessons and the teachers find it easy and convenient to use.
The Alephbeis program has transformed the way my students learn Kriah. The Alephbeis program encompasses every aspect of teaching Kriah. It begins with letter recognition and moves all the way to reading Rashi fluently. The material is clear and beautifully written. From classwork to homework and then to review booklets for all the vacations throughout the year, it allows students to constantly review and strengthen their skills. My students are all motivated to learn and love when it is time to learn Kriah. The creators of Alephbeis have thought of every detail to maximize each lesson. They are always available to discuss any question that arises and help me teach the program to its fullest. The Alephbeis website is also a wonderful tool for parents to review at home with their children. The program is able to be individually modified to any skill or level, so it is a very good option for tutoring students. The assessments are designed to pinpoint every last detail of each student’s strengths and weaknesses and help me pinpoint which skills need review.
The support I’ve received from Tova Rottenberg, the educational director of the Alephbeis program, has been truly outstanding. She is always open to feedback and consistently makes updates to the program based on our suggestions, highlighting her commitment to ensuring it meets the needs of both educators and students. Her availability and willingness to provide guidance whenever needed have greatly enhanced my ability to implement this program successfully and confidently. The updates and personalized support have also led to significant Kriah gains for our students. I couldn’t ask for better support.
There are so many different aspects of this Kriah program which are phenomenal. I have been teaching Kriah for more than ten years, and find each feature of this program useful and practical to help attain Kriah goals within the classroom or the student support center.
The technology which enables smart testing in between written assessments aids teachers in knowing which students can benefit from extra support. The Alephbeis portal generates the data from the written assessments, so that teachers know how to proceed in teaching and what to practice more. Teachers can then prepare materials tailored to the students’ needs, and work with them so that they can reach the Kriah outcomes expected for that year.
In addition to the frontal lessons, our school uses Kriah centers in Kindergarten and First grade. The resources that are available enabled me to create many fun, data-based centers which supported the students’ learning.
The live online teachers forum, AMA, that Tova the curriculum developer hosts allowed me to realize the success of this program with other schools, and how to implement techniques and ideas from other teachers into our school’s techniques. The personalized support provided by Tova is exceptional!
The Alephbeis Kriah program has been instrumental in bringing up the Kriah level within our school.
